Michael Hnat

Michael, born 1974 in Munich, learned programming while doing his apprenticeship at Siemens. He then spent several years as a programmer using several different high level programming languages.

In 1998 Michael founded his company Bluegras and has since programmed almost exclusively with CFML. In that time he developed several individual solutions for different companies, including Allianz, Hanser Verlag and some Bavarian ministries.
He focuses on CMS development, jQuery, and different frameworks.

His latest great achievement was organizing the 2011 CFCamp Conference which took place in October in Munich.

He was mainly involved in the development of a new Railo based CMS called Zettamax ENS which currently runs 4500 Websites on one Railo server.

Together with his girlfriend, they have a grand total of four children and a lot of fun with them. In his free time he's playing ice-hockey.

At Railo he's responsible for sales and customer support for Germany and Austria and is looking forward to work with the entire team and his new role.
